Requirements

  • Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience Required: No experience required; in-house training provided.
  • Certification/Licensure Required: None
  • Skills Required: Demonstrate attention to detail, quality and cleanliness in work.
  • Follow one- or two-step verbal instructions; read and follow written instructions; perform routine and repetitive tasks and carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, MSDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Run antibiotic tests.
  • Unload trucks and balance silo inventories.
  • Input milk loads into Milk Dashboard and SAP.
  • Wash tanks and silos.
  • Wash and unload milk trucks.
  • Wash product lines.
  • Process milk slips.
  • Perform HTST/UF/RO readings.
  • Run samples and record results.
  • Loadout whey/cream trucks, complete paperwork in SAP.
  • Mix powder for production.
  • Contact patrons for cow results.
  • Complete tasks on Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Comply with State and Federal regulations.
  • Training on Charm Reader for antibiotic results
  • Training to obtain Bulk Milk Sampler license
  • Training to obtain HTST Certification
  • Attend meetings as directed.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.
