About The Position
As an Intake/FQC Specialist at H Gregory 1 Inc, you will play a crucial role in the vehicle receiving and inspection process. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving all incoming vehicles, collecting the transporters' Bill of Lading, identifying potential transportation damage, and staging vehicles for inspection at our reconditioning and logistics centers. You will need to be familiar with the Hgreg inventory and receiving process to ensure a smooth workflow. In your role, you will be responsible for visually inspecting each vehicle upon arrival, reporting any damage to management, and preparing barcodes, tags, and key fobs for vehicles still in transit. You will also be tasked with removing auction stickers and replacing them with pre-registered barcodes, creating work orders, and completing body estimates on all newly received vehicles. Coordination with the buying/inventory team will be essential as you stage OVE vehicles for auction, arbitration, and wholesale. Additionally, you will conduct weekly inventory scans of all vehicles and assist the audit team in locating any missing units. As a Final Quality Control Inspector, your primary duty will be to conduct the final quality inspection on all vehicles before they are sent for sale to customers. This will involve using an Hgreg approved Final Inspection form to check all aspects of the vehicle, ensuring it meets HGreg standards of reconditioning. You will maintain a detailed log of all vehicles that fail the Final Quality Inspection and notify management of any issues that may prevent a vehicle from being front-line ready. Maintaining a clean and organized work area and adhering to safety protocols will also be part of your responsibilities.
