Requirements

• At least one year of intake/assessment experience preferably in a crisis intervention environment
• A master’s degree in a counseling or related field
• License-eligible

Responsibilities

• Responding to telephone and face-to-face inquiries seeking mental health
• Conducting clinical assessments and determining appropriate treatment options
• Ensuring patients and families understand the admissions and treatment process
• Discussing clinical issues with physicians to determine next steps
• Collaborating with other departments to address the needs of patients
