About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of insurance plans, workers' compensation, personal injury, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM.
• Ability to effectively interact with doctors, attorneys, patients, and co-workers.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming patients and monitor patient flow.
• Answer telephone calls according to company standards and schedule/confirm patient appointments.
• Communicate between patients and the office to ensure all protocols are followed.
• Utilize medical terminology to address patient inquiries and solve problems.
• Contact attorneys regarding client no-show appointments.
• Provide basic office administrative support tasks such as emails, updating spreadsheets, and e-faxing.
• Follow HIPAA regulations in all communications and documentation.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
