Primary Purpose : Provides outreach for ongoing referrals to ACCA. Will conduct screenings and assessments of potential Outpatient clients. Provide substance abuse counseling services to clients in accordance with OASAS and Agency rules and regulations. Will review clinic documentation and case records according to agency policy and regulatory requirements. Duties and Responsibilities : Works with ACCA Administrative Assistant scheduling intakes. Provides outreach by promoting the ACCA's services and obtaining referrals for screenings, assessments, and treatment. Adheres to all directives and policies of the ACCA at all times. Conducts screenings and assessments. Evaluates and motivates clients. Provides group counseling as scheduled. May carry a small caseload as needed. Maintains accurate and timely documentation in case records according to agency policy and regulatory requirements. Assists in providing a safe and respectful environment for treatment. Attends and participates in all assigned meetings and committees. Makes and completes all referrals to appropriate services. Continues to seek and develop professional growth and activities. Maintains a professional relationship with the community, peers and other providers. Other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director.
