About The Position

Intake Clinician-PRN Opportunity! Join the expanding team in our new state of the art 132 bed behavioral health facility! Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's. Prairie St. John's currently has a Full-time opening for a Needs Assessment Intake Clinician. This position is PRN. Coverage needed (every other Friday 3pm-11:30pm and Saturday 9am-5:00pm, additional pick up as needed). Admissions Clinicians assess potential patients to determine the appropriate level of care. Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or family and marriage therapy; or RN license
  • Superb documentation skills
  • Good communication and relationship skills including the ability to set boundaries, hold confidences, establish and maintain trust
