About The Position

The Intake Clinician at Kiwi Recovery LLC is responsible for managing the intake process for new clients in Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient Therapy programs. This role involves completing necessary admission documentation, coordinating care plans, and facilitating communication between clients and the clinical team. The clinician will also assist in group therapy sessions and ensure a supportive environment for clients facing behavioral health and substance use challenges.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a health-related field with licensure (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a behavioral health or substance abuse setting.
• Experience with insurance authorizations.
• Proven track record in treating substance use and mental health disorders.
• Expertise in leading evidence-based behavioral health and substance abuse therapy groups.
• Strong crisis management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the intake process for new clients in various treatment programs.

• Conduct utilization reviews for insurance authorizations.
• Coordinate care plans with other clinical staff.
• Facilitate discharge meetings with clients and parents.
• Assist in completing client and parent satisfaction surveys.
• Collect necessary documentation from referral sources and support networks.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed.
