About The Position
The Assessment Clinician is responsible for interviewing incoming patients and completing a bio/social assessment. Presents the assessment findings to the physician in order determine programming level. The Clinician also transitions the patient into the care of Nursing Staff. Requirements
- The candidate can have a nursing degree (Associates, BSN or MSN) with an Ohio issued RN license OR Master Degree Licensed Social Worker (MSW / LSW or LISW)
- Previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred for this position.
- This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Professional demeanor and appearance required.
