About The Position

The Intake Associate is an entry-level position within the single family residential mortgage division, providing essential administrative support in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to shift priorities as business needs evolve. The role also involves cross-training with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and broad operational understanding.

Requirements

• Strong math skills and computer literacy
• Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and produce results
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to perform multiple functions throughout the day as the need arises

Nice To Haves

• Current mortgage lending experience and/or knowledge a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Review initial checklist for any missing items and set up loan contacts
• Review and generate initial disclosures to ensure compliance guidelines are met and fees are accurate
• Initiate service orders such as closing party validations, tax return verifications, verification of employment/income, etc
• Collect and image supporting documentation when needed
• Assist and inform Brokers/Correspondents/Borrowers through the loan process when needed
• Other duties as assigned to meet business and company needs, including cross training within other SFR departments
