The Intake/Appeals Coordinator is responsible for any request of applicant appeal. This appeal must be a written request (Appeal Form) from the applicant, requesting formal hearing, per LIHEAP program’s standards. This position verifies that the client meets all program requirements and certifies the application for appropriate level(s) of assistance. Answer phones as needed, make and file applicant folders, assist in clerical duties in the daily operation of the program and perform general duties as required. Employee may be scheduled for alternative hours on Thursday during fuel season.
