Responsibilities

  • Provides high level support with the development and delivery of student immigration services.
  • Responsible for the coordination and review of incoming immigration service requests.
  • Serves as Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) under the F-1 and J-1 visa categories.
  • Advises international students and campus departments of internal policies and procedures and external regulations.
  • Provides pre and post arrival information to newly admitted international students.
  • Maintains and updates Student and Exchange Visitor System (SEVIS) records to ensure reporting compliance.
  • Applies professional student services concepts.
  • Provides varied student services to students, faculty, and department/school/college management.
  • Works on moderately complex issues and receives assistance on more complex issues.
