The Materials Handler position at Mercury Systems involves managing and processing raw materials, finished, and semi-finished parts while ensuring compliance with internal policies.   • Sort, count, and check raw materials, finished, and semi-finished parts.
  • Handle raw materials in compliance with internal Electrostatic Discharge Policies and Procedures.
  • Issue material to Work Orders and follow Bill of Material and Work Order Routing.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy at all levels and manage stockroom data files.
  • Perform required cycle counts and audits of stocking locations to ensure system transaction accuracy.
  • Conduct physical inventories as required.
  • Understand SMT components and feeder/machine attrition.
  • Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Process MRP transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Store electronic components properly and understand MSD components.
  • Validate previous transactions for discrepancies and ensure internal specifications and traceability requirements are met.
  • Ensure Kit preparation complies with Standards and internal documentation.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Comfortable working under a microscope.
  • Experience with Oracle (preferred).
