About The Position
The Insurance Verification Specialist at Novant Health is responsible for ensuring accurate insurance verification, including coverage, benefits, and coordination of benefits. This role involves reviewing authorization requirements for various medical services and communicating with hospital departments and provider offices to facilitate the authorization process. The specialist will also interact with insurance providers to validate patient benefits and manage inbound and outbound calls, all while contributing to a remarkable patient experience and reducing denials and write-offs.
