Position Summary
The Insurance Verification Representative provides critical weekend coverage for insurance benefit verification, admissions processing, authorization support, and Medicaid screening. This role ensures that patients scheduled or admitted from Friday through Sunday are financially cleared and that all payer requirements are met. The representative also serves as weekend backup for the Financial Counselor.

Requirements

• Experience in insurance verification, patient access, medical billing, or financial counseling preferred.
• Strong communication, accuracy, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently during weekend hours.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with MS4 or similar EHR systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete Verification of Benefits for all Friday–Sunday patients.
• Process admissions in MS4 to support weekend Intake workflows.
• Assist with prior authorization needs as requested.
• Serve as the weekend Medicaid Navigator, performing eligibility screenings and assisting patients with coverage options.
• Provide backup support to the weekly Financial Counselor, including communicating patient financial responsibilities and documenting follow‑up needs.
