Day to day as a Insurance Verification/Medicaid Eligibility/Financial Counselor As an Insurance Verification/Medicaid Eligibility/Financial Counselor at Minden Medical Center, your daily responsibilities will include verifying patient insurance information, checking Medicaid eligibility, and guiding individuals through financial counseling processes. You will spend your days on the phone and at your desk, responding to inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and assisting patients in understanding their coverage options. Collaboration with healthcare providers will be essential to ensure a smooth patient experience. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records and documentation, utilizing innovative systems to streamline processes. Your schedule will be structured as a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable routine while you engage with clients and contribute to our customer-focused culture.
