About The Position

We are actively seeking an Insurance Subrogation/Reimbursement Specialist I that will work to identify and protect legal subrogation rights and recover funds from responsible parties when possible. This includes reviewing claims and other information to identify possible third party responsibilities and initiating appropriate action to recover funds paid for various medical expenses and other costs.

Requirements

• Two years of technical experience in processing and/or payment of insurance claims.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting thirty semester hours of college for one year of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and protect legal subrogation rights.
• Recover funds from responsible parties.
• Review claims and other information to identify possible third party responsibilities.
• Initiate appropriate action to recover funds paid for medical expenses and other costs.
