What You’ll Do: As our Insurance Specialist, you will provide support and quality assurance to the lending team while serving as a resource for members with questions or concerns regarding their insurance policies and products. The Details: Location: Lacey, WA Pay Range: The range for this position is $24.87-$37.31 per hour with a target range of $24.87-$31.09 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. Maintain an in-depth understanding of laws and regulations pertaining to financial institutions, consumer, tax requirements, anti-money laundering, lending compliance requirements. Provide daily support to the Lending Team by reviewing insurance documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lending requirements. Perform quality assurance on loan files to ensure insurance coverage meets organizational and regulatory standards. Serve as a point of contact for members with questions or concerns related to insurance policies, coverage requirements, and insurance-related lending products. Communicate with insurance providers, agents, and internal departments to obtain, verify, and update insurance information. Monitor insurance expirations, cancellations, and lapses, and take appropriate follow-up actions to protect collateral. Maintain accurate records and documentation within loan servicing systems. Identify discrepancies or coverage gaps and escalate issues as needed. Assist with audits, reporting, and regulatory or compliance reviews related to insurance servicing.
