About The Position
The Insurance Specialist is responsible for resolving registration related payer denials which are housed in Epic account workqueues. On a daily basis, the insurance specialist will utilize payer guidelines to correct the account and appeal the denial.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent is required.
- A combined minimum of (2) years' experience in registration.
- Must have knowledge of Texas Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial insurance programs.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
