About The Position

Our Insurance Specialist Internship offers a dynamic opportunity for students seeking hands-on experience in one of the nation's most respected crop insurance companies. Interns will gain exposure to both the claims and marketing sides of the business through real-world projects, interactive classroom sessions, and mentorship from experienced professionals. This 360-degree internship includes: Field experience in claims adjustment and underwriting, Marketing and customer engagement projects, Team-based assignments and problem-solving, Classroom instruction and interaction with senior leadership. This internship runs from June to early August 2026 and is located in Johnston, Iowa.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of the agriculture/marketing-related fields listed.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel locally as needed.
• Eagerness to learn new systems, contribute to projects, and grow professionally.

• Completed junior year in college preferred.
