Requirements

  • 18+ years of IT experience with significant experience delivering insurance systems.
  • Strong expertise in mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM.
  • Knowledge of Micro Focus and AWS cloud solutions.
  • Experience managing budgets, resolving escalations, and ensuring client success.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Problem-solving orientation and self-motivated approach.
  • Experience with legacy modernization projects, moving mainframe applications to cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in Micro Focus COBOL – Rocket Software.
  • Ability to convert Mainframe JCL into command-line scripts.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Basic understanding of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with VSAM concepts and DB2 LUW.
  • Experience recommending/configuring Vantage-One/wmA products to optimize batch cycles.
  • Ability to build programs tailored to business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end service delivery for large-scale implementations, SaaS platform migrations, and managed services engagements for Life & Annuity insurance clients.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, addressing queries and ensuring high satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer teams, to define project requirements and ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with architects on solution design and provide project estimates for upcoming initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement using service management best practices.
  • Leverage deep insurance industry knowledge to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence.
