About The Position

This position is responsible for the ongoing education and sales of MercyCare products and Mercy Health System services to brokers and employer groups. Position will develop contacts with potential groups to understand group; current insurance coverage, agent if any, renewal date, group size, educate the group on Mercy Health System and MercyCare Health Plans. Position will also work be responsible for the sales of all MercyCare Medicare products. Position will track and review information continuously with the Director of Sales and Network Development. From information gathered and review with the Director of Sales and Network Development, revised marketing strategies will be developed and product offerings revised.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Wisconsin Insurance Sales License within 12 months
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Problem Solving -Demonstrate ability to work with challenging situations to promote MercyCare.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Goldmine or similar software Contact Management systems; excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
