Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Insurance Risk Management, Finance/Accounting, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, including a strong interest in learning and using Power BI.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, and other data manipulation tools.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
  • Candidates must be local (Amelia, OH) and have reliable transportation due to the hybrid work schedule.
  • Interns will work in the office at least 2 days a week.
  • Applicants requiring employer sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, or visualizations to monitor performance metrics.
  • Support analysis requests from leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Present findings and project outcomes in a clear, professional manner to stakeholders.
  • Assist the team by performing tasks designed to gain an understanding of the Property and Casualty marketplace while providing information/research to the team.
  • Participate fully with other team members by actively asking questions, volunteering answers, and assisting teammates as appropriate.
  • Continuously develop and strengthen the skills required for success in the Insurance Industry.
  • Ideate on problem areas and come up with meaningful, value-added solutions to implement.
