As an Insurance Reviewer, you will determine the financial responsibility of our patients based on communicated treatment plans and serve as a resource to multiple areas of the practice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding required.
• Minimum three (3) years medical insurance verification and authorization experience required.
• Associates degree in Healthcare, LPN state license and registration preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills.
• Previous oncology/hematology experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with multiple departments to determine financial responsibility for patients.
• Understand treatment plans and ensure proper steps are taken for approval.
• Communicate and document process details to keep team members updated on a patient's financial status.
• Track patient information quickly when necessary.
• Build trust with providers and clinical team members.
• Determine financial considerations for patient treatment plans.
• Work with patient advocate and assistance team members to assess financial needs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
