About The Position
We are looking for an outgoing and dedicated Insurance Salesperson to work on our team. A successful candidate will participate in networking opportunities throughout the communities; and will serve to develop relationships with businessowners that will lead to sales. Those territories include Knoxville, Chattanooga, Marion County area and North Georgia.
Requirements
- Proven ability to pursue and close insurance sales
- Hold Property and Casualty Insurance License
- Flexible and creative in finding solutions
- A minimum of one year of property and casualty insurance experience
Responsibilities
- Develop commercial lines leads using networking opportunities, bank referrals, and cold calls
- Maintain an active pipeline of leads for each month
- Qualify a prospect and put together a commercial line insurance submission
- Work in software systems which include a CRM and a lead generation application
- Work with the sales manager and CEO to develop branding and marketing strategies
- Knowledgeable in all lines of commercial insurance to be a trusted advisor to prospects and clients.
- Develop an annual sales goal and be accountable for meeting that goal
- Participate in continued education
- Attend weekly sales meeting and meetings with carrier representative
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
