About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business, Data/Business Analytics, or a relevant quantitative field, or any field with prior quantitative analytics experience; degree obtained by May 2025.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Highly effective communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with data analysis software like R, SAS, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a changing team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities with accurate and timely results.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to ask insightful questions.
• Effective time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Previous internship experience in similar fields or businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare statistical analyses of underwriting or claims experience for ratemaking or management reports.
