About The Position
Verifies all insurance benefits and obtains insurance authorizations/pre-certifications for surgeries and braces.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED and one year of related experience and/or training. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to compute rate and percents.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other database systems.
- Basic knowledge of health insurance plans.
