A day in the life. As our Marketing Lead on the Commercial Lines team, you'll lead and coordinate marketing activities on new and renewal business as well as support Producer in sales activities. You'll do this by serving as a consultative point of contact for the client in relation to coverages and marketing matters, identifying and understanding client needs, leading the renewal process and preparing company applications and submissions, assisting Producer with presenting coverage and renewal recommendations to clients, preparing proposals, and building and growing relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and teammates. We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or related experience Five years of relevant insurance industry experience Property and Casualty insurance license Considerable knowledge of policies and coverage issues for all states and industries serviced Organizational skills to plan and prioritize workload Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients, market contacts, and McGriff teammates Discretion and problem-solving skills to analyze client information and proposal competitiveness Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel overnight These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply: Advanced degree(s) Insurance industry certifications in addition to necessary license Prior experience leading teams and/or projects We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. The applicable base salary range for this role is $71,800 to $133,700. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or related experience
Five years of relevant insurance industry experience
Property and Casualty insurance license
Considerable knowledge of policies and coverage issues for all states and industries serviced
Organizational skills to plan and prioritize workload
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients, market contacts, and McGriff teammates
