About The Position

Insurance Intern (Summer 2026) at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions. The internship program offers real-world business, risk management, and insurance experience, allowing interns to apply classroom concepts through project work and client interaction. Interns will gain exposure in Client Management, Risk Management, and Benefits Analysis, and participate in various learning opportunities including lunch & learn sessions, webinars, and a final group presentation to senior leadership. The program aims to build a solid foundation in Employee Health & Benefits and Business Insurance, while also providing networking opportunities and industry training.

Requirements

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 minimum.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Students entering their senior year toward a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred.
• Majors in Risk and Insurance Management, Finance, or a keen interest in insurance, risk management, or financial consulting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Applied knowledge in communication, interpersonal relationship management, versatility, and creativity.
• Resolution and solution-oriented.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project work and client interaction to apply classroom concepts.
• Gain exposure in Client Management, Risk Management, and Benefits Analysis.
• Attend lunch & learn sessions and webinars to understand the industry.
• Analyze client information and conduct research for ad-hoc projects.
• Deliver a final group presentation to the senior leadership team.
