About The Position

Join Fortuity – Where Your Growth Matters! As an Insurance Sales Consultant, you’ll assist customers of a top U.S. insurance broker select the right insurance coverage to meet their needs. No cold calling – just meaningful interactions that build trust and offer solutions. Licensed Insurance Inside Sales Consultants handle inbound and outbound calls or leads, consult with customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products and benefits to convert leads into customers.

Requirements

  • You must have the ability to pass the health and life insurance licensing exams through our paid training and become licensed after background and credit checks.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and address customer concerns effectively.
  • Tech-savvy and able to navigate multiple systems efficiently.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Candidates who currently reside in a Small Business Administration (SBA) designated HubZone area are strongly encouraged to apply. HubZone residency is not required for this position but is considered a preferred qualification due to our participation in the SBA HubZone program.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with active insurance shoppers via inbound or outbound calls, live chat, SMS and more.
  • Use your insurance expertise to uncover customer needs, identify coverage gaps and recommend tailored solutions and products from leading insurance companies.
  • Achieve key performance metrics in policy conversion, placement and retention.
  • Effectively quote, present, and close sales, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to overcome objections.
  • Study and pass the state insurance exam.

  • Target Total Compensation: $37,440 - $60,000 per year based (Base Pay + Uncapped Performance-Based Incentives).
