About The Position

Jerry.ai is growing and looking for a licensed, entrepreneurial insurance producer to focus on building deep relationships with local real estate professionals, businesses and organizations in the Phoenix/Scottsdale market. This producer will develop a powerful referral network for Jerry.ai’s personal lines insurance business as part of our Independent Agent Network. You will be one of the first producers on the ground, responsible for personally sourcing, closing, and managing insurance business using Jerry.ai’s platform as leverage. This is a true individual contributor role focused on using an entrepreneurial skillset for production, referrals, and relationship-building. This role is ideal for a producer who wants autonomy, upside, and ownership, and who is energized by building a durable personal referral network inside a high-growth technology company. Jerry.ai is building the first super app to make car and home ownership affordable and accessible, addressing a $2T U.S. market. We’ve raised $240M in funding, scaled revenue 60X, and serve more than 5M customers nationwide.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of recent experience operating as a producing insurance agent or producer
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license (not required, but strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to generate and grow a personal book of business through referrals and relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills with a consultative approach
  • Comfort working independently in a performance-driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Willingness to travel locally 25-50% of the time across the Phoenix/Scottsdale area

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality referral relationships in the Phoenix Metro area: Establish and maintain partnerships with dealerships, repair shops, real estate professionals, and other local businesses that consistently generate inbound insurance opportunities.
  • Operate as a hands-on producer: Manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting through bind and retention, while leveraging Jerry.ai’s technology, pricing, and customer demand.
  • Represent Jerry.ai in-market: Act as a trusted local representative of Jerry.ai by attending partner meetings, industry events, and community activities to build credibility and brand awareness.
  • Continuously optimize your production: Use performance data and feedback to refine your approach, increase conversion, and grow a high-retention book over time.
