About The Position

Insurance Defense Associate Attorney Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience representing insureds and insurance carriers in civil litigation matters, including personal injury, property damage, and general liability claims. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral advocacy, and the ability to manage a caseload independently from inception through resolution. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in insurance defense litigation , including trucking accident cases Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trials . Draft and respond to motions, including motions for summary judgment and discovery motions. Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with partners and clients. Evaluate claims, damages, and liability exposures to provide accurate case assessments and recommendations. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues. Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and expert witnesses. Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and billing guidelines . Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law and in good standing in the State of Texas. 2–6 years of experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or related practice areas. Strong knowledge of civil procedure, discovery rules, and trial practice . Exceptional writing, research, and oral advocacy skills . Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently. Experience with case management systems and billing software preferred. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Requirements
