About the position

The Ott Insurance Agency is a small friendly independent agency servicing personal and commercial lines business. We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Insurance Customer Service Representative. As the first point of contact for our insurance company, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to policyholders, agents, and potential customers. Experience in insurance is not required but would be a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
• Assisting customers with policy inquiries, claim submissions, and billing questions
• Educating customers on insurance coverage options and policy details
• Processing policy changes and updates
• Resolving customer complaints and issues
• Providing support to insurance agents and sales representatives
• Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation
• Collaborating with other teams to improve processes and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
