Position Summary Traub Lieberman is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Associate (3-7 years) to join our Insurance Defense team in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. This position involves drafting coverage opinions and position letters, as well as supporting coverage litigation in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will bring strong research and writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to contribute effectively within a team-driven environment. Traub Lieberman offers a collaborative team environment and maintains an active training program to promote professional growth. As a member of our team, the attorney will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work closely with partners who are invested in their professional development and growth.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Florida.
• 3-7 years of experience in litigation with a strong understanding of case management.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Professional, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in insurance coverage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage general liability and third-party construction defense matters independently from inception through resolution.
• Draft high-quality motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, offering updates and strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and contribute to case strategy.
