About The Position

The Insurance Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Insurance Team by processing requests for certificates of insurance and assisting with insurance compliance activities. This role works under moderate supervision, follows established procedures, and ensures accurate and timely delivery of insurance documentation while communicating insurance related information that may require explanation of policies, requirements, and processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Adobe
  • Ability to manage a high volume, task driven workload
  • Ability to follow established processes and escalate issues appropriately

Responsibilities

  • Process requests for certificates of insurance in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
  • Review insurance information for accuracy and completeness prior to issuance
  • Maintain and organize insurance records, certificates, and related documentation
  • Track and prioritize incoming insurance requests to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Forward customer specific insurance or endorsement requests to appropriate internal stakeholders
