About The Position
The Insurance Collector is responsible for securing accurate and timely reimbursement for inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and ancillary services. This role manages a high volume of complex insurance claims, ensuring compliance with hospital billing standards, payer regulations, and federal guidelines. Working within the hospital’s Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team, the Medical Insurance Collector proactively follows up on outstanding insurance balances, resolves claim denials and helps optimize hospital cash flow.
