Insurance Claims & Loss Prevention Specialist
About The Position
As an entry level Insurance and Loss Prevention Specialist at Fourteen Foods, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our assets, team members, and customers. You will be responsible for efficiently triaging tickets, retrieving video footage, documenting pertinent information, analyzing POS data for trends, offering policy and procedures support, and effectively communicating findings to various operational teams. This role serves as a vital link between our Loss Prevention department and the broader organization, helping to mitigate risks and prevent losses.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field is a plus
- Familiarity with Workers Compensation and/or General Liability Insurance laws and practices
- Basic knowledge of surveillance systems and software
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
- Integrity and a commitment to upholding ethical standards
- Organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem analysis and problem-solving expertise
- Working knowledge of Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR)
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Proficient in Loss Prevention Techniques
- Knowledge of Video Surveillance Equipment
