About The Position

The Insurance Biller of Physician Clinic Billing ensures that all services provided by the Marshall Family Medicine Clinics are processed, coded, billed, and followed in accordance with government regulations, insurance carriers guidelines for electronic or hard copy submission.

Requirements

• Comprehensive working knowledge of CPT, HCPS, ICDP coding.
• Experience with insurance billing software and medical terminology in a caregiver setting.
• Ability to take and pass a proficiency exam to demonstrate experience for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of workers compensation, CHDP, CMSP, Medi-Cal, MEDICARE, HMO, capitation, PACT, BCDEP claims.

Responsibilities

• Process, code, and bill all services provided by the Marshall Family Medicine Clinics.
• Follow up on billing in accordance with government regulations and insurance carrier guidelines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of CPT, HCPS, ICDP coding, and insurance billing processes.
