About The Position

Insurance Authorizations/Patient Registration & Scheduling for our Diabetes & Nutrition & Speech departments- part of our Rehab office at 49 South Main Street, Concord NH Summary The Insurance Authorization Assistant works under the direction of the Director and/or Office Manager. They oversee all patient registrations and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance. Updates the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Cerner billing systems; performs administrative review of each account, reads referrals, and schedules patients. Is a resource to all staff members in regards to the initial scheduling, insurance authorization and processing of patients. Requirements

  • High school or equivalent (GED).
  • At least one year experience working in the medical field or equivalent combination of continuing education and experience is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively and positively interact with a multi disciplinary team of staff, patients, and others.
