About The Position

The Insurance Analyst is a critical role responsible for monitoring and managing the insurance renewals, assisting with internal and lender insurance audits, and ensuring compliant expiration report, assisting with internal vendor insurance audits, and ensuring the integrity and adequacy of insurance coverage for life lending loans.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in commercial real estate insurance.
  • Relevant experience in commercial mortgage and loan servicing preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance and commercial mortgage terminology.
  • Experience with commercial insurance with emphasis on lender requirements is a plus.
  • High school diploma.
  • Undergraduate business degree is preferred.
  • Current insurance designations (e.g., CPCU, CISR, CIC, AIS, CRM) are a plus.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage insurance renewals.
  • Assist with internal and lender insurance audits.
  • Ensure compliant expiration reports.
  • Address exceptions and manage expiration lists to ensure continuous and adequate insurance coverage.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data for compliance and integrity of insurance coverage.
  • Assist with various audits requiring a deep understanding of insurance policies and compliance standards.
  • Manage a designated portfolio consisting of multiple lenders by gathering documentation and reviewing insurance.
  • Propose solutions and identify risks involved.
  • Function as an insurance subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to servicing, production, and senior management.
  • Identify and analyze insurance risk.
  • Manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • Work effectively with Asset Managers, Closers, and Escrow Managers to maintain the integrity of insurance coverage for the portfolio.
