About The Position

LRE (Leeward Renewable Energy) is a high-growth renewable energy company forging a sustainable future through integrity, innovation, and positive impact. We own and operate 30 large wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States, totaling over 3 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity. LRE has an ambitious goal of 10GW of operating assets by 2028 and are developing and contracting an increasing pipeline of new projects every year. We take a full-lifecycle approach to our projects, built on a long-term ownership model and a company culture dedicated to our community partners and protecting the environment. Job Summary: The Insurance Analyst will be responsible for various insurance-related activities, including support of insurance placements, certificate requests, contract review tracking, surety bond administration, policy review tracking across all entities within corporate and project development, and claims administration.

Requirements

  • Computer/software skills of proficiency to a high level in SharePoint
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Strong communication skills with a diverse range of individuals are needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, Risk Management degree a plus.
  • 1-3 years of insurance or risk management experience
  • Applicants must have current authorization to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for an employment visa now or in the future.
  • Employer visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Support insurance placements, including developing presentations for underwriting and internal stakeholders.
  • Support and administer insurance applications by working with other departments to complete.
  • Track all policies across entities, providing copies and policy wording as requested.
  • Manage data room for insurance documents
  • Manage Certificate of Insurance requests and facilitate delivery.
  • Track contract reviews performed by the Insurance Manager and follow up on timing, providing agreed-upon standard language when appropriate, Certificate of Insurance tracking and review of all vendors and contractors.
  • Support annual premium audit requests.
  • Support annual internal audit requests.
  • Support claim reporting
