About The Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Carry materials, prepare surfaces to be insulated, and clean work area. Assist Insulator with brushing adhesives on or attaching metal backed pipes. Measure and cut insulation material to specified size and shape for covering flat or round surfaces using tape measure, knife, or scissors. Assist in fitting, wrapping, or attaching required insulation material around or to structure. Cover or seat insulation with specified material to secure insulation to the structure. Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines. Maintains tools and equipment and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Perform other duties as required.
