About The Position

SUMMARY: Handling steam and electrical tracing and spacers, traps, troubleshooting and isolating steam lines and replacing as needed with the exception of terminating electrical leads. Helpers (includes helpers 0 months- helper 42 months) - Preferred minimum of 6 months documented field experience in chosen craft discipline. Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation. The level and degree of job responsibilities and requirements vary depending on months of experience and assigned job step. Experience: 2+ years Capabilities: Assigned to Journeyman, performs most tasks with supervision; requires guidance for complex work Knowledge: Developing core trade skills and safety understanding Tools & Systems Proficiency: Basic hand tools, PPE, LOTO awareness, intro to site safety systems Brown & Root Industrial Services is an equal opportunity employer.
