About The Position

The Insulation Leadman is responsible for applying, removing, and repairing insulating material to exposed surfaces or structures, such as air ducts, hot or cold pipes, storage tanks, boilers, and buildings to help control noise and maintain temperatures. The role involves reading blueprints, selecting required insulation materials, and working at heights without fear. The Leadman will brush adhesives on or attach metal adhesive applications to insulation material, determine the amounts and select required insulation materials based on their ability to retain heat, location, surface, shape, and equipment use. The position requires measuring and cutting insulation material to specified sizes and shapes for covering flat or round surfaces, fitting, wrapping, or attaching insulation material around structures, and covering or sealing insulation with various materials to secure it to the structure. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• No minimum education requirements.
• 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Responsibilities
