Job Summary: Bell Brothers is seeking a motivated Window/Insulation Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level, full-time role provides hands-on training in residential window installation and attic insulation systems (cellulose and fiberglass). Apprentices work alongside experienced technicians to learn proper installation techniques, safety standards, and customer service best practices while performing physical work both indoors and outdoors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the trades and grow their skills in home performance and installation services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and work in attics, confined spaces, and various weather conditions.
  • Comfort using hand and power tools.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • 0–3 years of experience in construction, insulation, HVAC, window installation, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced installers with window and insulation installations.
  • Load and unload trucks with materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Prepare job sites, including protecting customer property and setting up work areas.
  • Help assess homes and prepare surfaces for window and insulation installation.
  • Learn to install attic insulation systems according to company and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Assist with removing old windows and preparing openings for new installations.
  • Cut, bend, and install materials such as aluminum coil, flashing, and trim.
  • Apply caulk and sealants to ensure proper weatherproofing.
  • Operate tools and insulation equipment under supervision.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites during and after work.
  • Support quality checks to ensure work meets company and industry standards.
  • Track materials, time, and job details accurately.
  • Communicate professionally with supervisors, teammates, and customers.
