As an insulation installer, you will be responsible for loading and logging materials onto a truck, erecting scaffolding or ladders to the height needed, and cutting insulation materials to size for installation in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces. You will install insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation. Additionally, you may be required to drive a company vehicle, following all driving rules and DOT requirements, while maintaining your tools and truck. Observing job site safety rules and knowing the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle is also essential.
