Our client executes the operational readiness of oceanographic data collection systems in support of global maritime operations. The successful hire will support preparation, maintenance, and deployment of remote maritime instruments, unmanned undersea systems, and the management of the data collected. The new employee shall provide comprehensive support functions for warehouse and logistics, and office and technical services. Warehouse and logistic services require the Instrumentation Technician to perform quality control (QC), testing, pre-deployment setup, and physical movement of oceanographic instruments and unmanned under systems. The skills required involve manual labor, forklift operation, logistics documentation, and data entry. Office and technical services require the Technician to perform instrument and unmanned undersea system repair, testing, and documentation of instrument and/or unmanned system tracking and status.
