About The Position

CEL is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Production Technician to support critical manufacturing and production operations at our Tempe, AZ location. The ideal candidate is hands-on, able to work independently, follows direction well, and is willing to step in where needed to support team success.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail
Ability to sit or stand for an entire 8-hour shift
Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math, including fractions
Ability to regularly lift 60 pounds or more
Experience using power tools and small machinery
Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Team-oriented with effective communication skills
Willingness and ability to learn new skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials to meet job requirements and ensure material traceability.
Lift, move, and position raw materials as required.
Assemble hardware using hand tools and power tools.
Perform production welding, including TIG and plasma welding.
Inspect and label finished products to quality standards.
Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
