What you’ll do : - Work with a skilled maintenance team to install, maint ain , troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control equipment used in power generation . Work throughout the plant in both indoor and outdoor environments on equipment such as: Control systems: Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), I/O multiplexers Environmental monitoring: Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) Field instrumentation: transmitters, gauges, switches, analyzers, transducers, and ultrasonic flow measurement devices Control components: pneumatic and digital valve controllers and positioners, associated tubing, and wiring -Use technical drawings and system documentation to solve problems and keep systems performing at their best. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical manuals to support maintenance activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of two years’ post-secondary electronics school or equivalent training and one year experience in a related field
M echanical aptitude and a willingness to develop working knowledge of all major power plant systems and components.
Basic computer skills for daily operations and documentation.
Obtain a passing result from the applicable pre-employment test(s)

Nice To Haves

Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic control and computer systems used in industrial or power generation settings.
F amiliarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and related control systems.
