Your potential is our inspiration. Where You’ll Make a Difference Operate and maintain process equipment in various areas, with an initial focus on small-scale fermentation process labs. Troubleshoot and repair control loops (0–10 VDC and 4–20 mA), electrical/electronic systems, and process instruments such as load cells, pH, temperature, agitation, and pressure transmitters. Be familiar with the use of DVMs, ohm meters, oscilloscopes, current loop analyzers. Interpret and work from P&ID diagrams and electrical blueprints for process equipment. Perform preventive electrical and mechanical maintenance on diverse process equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Provide clear and responsive communication to internal customers. Be proficient using standard hand tools and be familiar with mechanical systems such as belt drives, pulleys, torque specs. Maintain accurate documentation and follow SOPs/BOMs. Utilize MS Office applications for reporting and documentation.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in process equipment, building maintenance, or equivalent training.
  • AA/AS Degree in Electrical, Electronic and /or Instrumentation Technologies or equivalent technical competency.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work alternative shifts, be part of emergency on-call schedule, overtime, and weekends when necessary.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Proficiency in basic mechanical systems and safety practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to PLC platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, GE Fanuc).
  • Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems (Intouch, WINcc, Inductive Automation, ControlLogix).
  • Experience with industrial controls and instrumentation.
