What You Will Achieve Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment. You will be a team member who is relied on to have a good understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your decision making will help you prioritize workflows based on the available resources. You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks, some of which may vary in scope, sequence, complexity and timing. You will contribute to the team’s success by sharing your previously acquired knowledge. It is your hard work and focus that will make Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients across the globe. How You Will Achieve it With minimal supervision calibrate, repair, and troubleshoot in the following disciplines: balances, pressure, flow, temperature conductivity, and Uv among others in a GMP environment. Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities. Read and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams and engineering drawings. Ensure all maintenance activity is completed within designated timeframe filing proper documentation per Standard Operating Procedures as necessary for extensions. Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and protocols. Make recommendations regarding improved instrument performance. Read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics. Manage time and professional development with assistance of Lead Tech or Supervisor. Know general shop safety practices, including handling and storage of calibration standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Calibration or Instrumentation & Controls experience, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics.
  • Excellent computer user skills
  • Functional or Technical Knowledge of basic discipline
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound interpersonal, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in cleanroom environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Military training (PMEL) is preferred.
  • Previous Biopharma experience
  • Previous experience working in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Experience in PLC’s, Temperature, Flow measurement devices
  • Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration, Good Manufacturing Practices also cGMP} policies and procedures
  • Good organizational and planning skills, some analytical and problem-solving ability and ability to learn quickly and grow within an organization.
  • Demonstrated ingenuity and creativity.
  • Use electrical testing equipment including multi-meters and clamp-on current meters in a safe manner.
  • LOTO experience
  • EQP experience
